Check the Status of your Jeep JK Wrangler - Order Status Codes
#2282
JK Rubicon orders 11870 divided by 57 built per day = 208 build days required to fill those orders = 291 calendar days/41.6 weeks/~10 months average build time for a JK Rubicon order placed today.
Your dealer was being very optimistic with that mid-December delivery date estimate. That's not to say you couldn't receive your Jeep next month (anything can happen), just realize that Rubicons are taking 10 months to build no matter what the individual options are.

It did. Then, when it was being considered for the next month's build schedule it went to BX. When it didn't get picked for that build schedule, it went to BG again. It will alternate from BG and BX until it gets picked for the upcoming month's build schedule.

Mine has been in BG for a few weeks now. My dealer explained to me that it was in BG because I ordered an X with the 23S package and they are running other packages thru the assembly line. Supposedly you stay in BG until all the materials you need for your jeep have been aquired and until they start to run a batch of the model and package you ordered.

i called today the check my order again and im still in d-1 with the same est date of 9/26, she then told me it could take up to 30 days to ship! does this happen. i would think it would take a max of a week to ship, esp since i live 2 hours from toledo. what u guys think, how long have u guys waited from ship date to arrival.

Very true...there are so many factors once it leaves the plant. It could go by rail...sometimes they are even trucked straight from the plant to the dealer, and if that's the case, these truckers can only drive (I think) like 12 hrs. per day. You're at the mercy of the transporter's schedule.

There are roughly 11,870 Rubicon orders ahead of yours. Jeep is only building 57 Rubicons per day the plant is running.
JK Rubicon orders 11870 divided by 57 built per day = 208 build days required to fill those orders = 291 calendar days/41.6 weeks/~10 months average build time for a JK Rubicon order placed today.

I really don't think thats true, by that time 09 orders are taken!!
If that is true thats insane man!!
If I ordered a SL65 AMG from benz it'll take 6 months for it to be built and shipped.
