Well, I'm new to this. First time Jeep buyer and excited about it! Since I order my 2008 Rubicon on 8/15 I've been checking out this forum and its great. I just talked to my dealer today who told me we have a VIN # and are "D" status but no build date as of today. Can someone please explain the codes and what they mean. Thanks.

Wow, I had no idea this thread was so long... Until now I just checked the first page to get the codes...

Mine is in D1 status, and the dealer says tentative ship date is 9/6. Yup, thats tomorrow...

...and the anticipation sets in.
