The July production schedule for 2007 models is built-out, but the 2008 production schedule in July has not been built-out yet. Your '08 order can go back and forth between BG and BX many many times, don't sweat it. Especially since they won't even start producing them for another month.

Anyone hear of any material restrictions on the '08s yet? I spoke to DC and they said I was BG due to materials...Just curious.

Thanks.

All 08's are on material restriction. Because the '08's are not being built yet. The parts to build the 08's are not on the line yet. When the '07 production ends, the plant will change-over to '08 assembly and tooling, with old '07 parts as well as new '08 parts brought to the line. Then, the plant will re-open and begin producing 2008 models. Once that happens, you'll be able to get an accurate build status. Other than that, as of right now there are no restrictions on parts.

Makes sense. Thanks for the clarification!

Default What Did They Give You For A Build Date

BLACKBEAR what did they give you for a build date?
Mine was rolled to a 2008 and I am still only BG, not even a wiff of scheduling and
I don't know who to trust the dealership tells me know one can be scheduled or get a VIN for a 2008 yet. This is so frustrating...

This is subject to change at any time, but as of right now:

2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited.....$28,235 MSRP ($25,764 Invoice) Priced at beginning of Model Year
2007 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited.....$28,635 MSRP Mid-Year Price Increased $400
2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited.....$29,240 MSRP ($26,659 Invoice)

The '08 price includes: Sirius Satellite Radio $195 ($172) and Floor Mats $50 ($44) that are now Standard for Rubicons.

Locking Fuel Filler Cap $15 ($13) is no longer available.

So, the 2008 MSRP is $360 more than a comparably equipped 2007.
