Also, don't be surprised if the dealer is VERY proud to have one w/MyGig... I would too if I were them... I called a couple days ago to the one in Oregon (Black 4-dr) and they wanted $5K over MSRP Chances are though, with as many as Jeff has shown that are up there, you might be able to get one at MSRP or close to it... who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and be below!

Also, the one in AZ (RedRock in color) wanted $3K over MSRP.

Like others I did find a very close match with MYGIG at another dealership in my area and they wanted $4200 over MSRP for the same vehicle. That means I would have had to pay $5500 more than my ordered price.

That is much better communication then my fleet sales guy at Countywide in Garden Grove, CA.

When I call him, he says, its in D1 status, same as last week, I'll call you when it gets in, don't bother me, there is nothing I can do about it.

He has never called me or emailed me for any updates.
Thank goodness we can call DC directly to get updates.

Can't wait to get my jeep and the response letter so I can write them up.

Of course I got the jeep at $500 under invoice through costco.com. So I know he's not making the money on other units.

Mine was a different dealer but had the same experience. I gave them plenty of oppurtunities to tell me how to get my order moving (change the order, etc.) or find me another one somewhere else... I think next time I get into buying a car/jeep/truck I'm gonna just go to the lot, find what I want, ask their best deal, then walk away and see what I can do on the internet... I have a feeling I'd do better than any of our local dealers

I'm looking for a rubi unlimited with a 6 speed and all options except my gig. I have one in red rock on order, but I just called and it's in BG with material restriction, so i'm guessing it won't be built till july?

Don-a-Vee, any chance you could do another search post minus the my gig? I had no idea they were that rare until your last post. Makes sense why i can't find one through the jeep.com inventory search.

I got the price through costco.com back in December 2006, $500 under invoice.
Costco sent me a email verification letter and has talked to both the general manager and the fleet sales person regarding my price.

Is that a good price for the Rubicon unlimited?
(just trying to interpret your statement)?

That is an unheard of price for an Unlimited Rubicon in So Cal.

You may want to check and see if they have changed their offered Costco pricing since you first negotiated the deal.
