Well I finally find out today mine is still BX... so there goes any chance of me getting an '07! I refuse to wait for an '08 also since this was for an exchange (dealership sold me a lemon truck so am exchanging it for the Jeep).

Originally back in March I was told the order was put through on "rush" status and that it would take 4 weeks. Last week I was told it would arrive sometime this month (May). Now if it's still BX, no chance in hell that'll happen!

So, I am not sure what to do now. I am going to speak with my lawyer this week and see what he says. As nice as the Jeeps are, no Jeep in the world is worth waiting a year for IMO. haha

Your lawyer will gladly take your money and laugh at you for bringing a ridiculous case....that's a sure loss.

I mean against the dealership - I have everything from them in writing. Lawyer is my uncle, so no charge to me. He owes me anyways for doing all the electrical in his house! haha

Well long story behind the truck they sold me... but in the end they agreed to do an exchange for something else. That's not the concern here.
What ticks me off though is that they could have just said end of summer for the Rubicon, and I would have been ok... I would just have selected a diff vehicle.
Twice though they've sent me dates and they've come and passed. So basically I've wasted 3-4 months now waiting for something I won't get. Because of their promises also - I have missed countless Rubicons sitting on lots at other dealerships - now all gone.

I may have some good news... will post later if it all comes together. Looks like I found my Rubicon on a lot in the Mid West (1400 miles away). That was after searching online through Dealer Inventory for a REALLY LONG TIME. I must have search 500-700 dealers... found only one in my search that had what I wanted. And it is REALLY close to what I ordered. So looks like I may cancel my order w/my dealer once I confirm the new one is on the way from the Mid West.

As much as I really haven't had to wait as long as many of you, I just have a hard time w/it... so for all you still waiting... and most likely going to wait till the 08's come out... start doing dealer searches... There are a lot of Rubicons out there, just gotta find the one you like. Being that mine is Blue, that made it the most difficult piece... asside from being loaded (no MyGig though).

I'll post again if it all comes together... but it looks good so far

Well, it's done... Getting shipped and should be here by the end of the month. They cut me a deal on the Rubicon such that even w/the additional cost in shipping (to my door), it still cost me less than the one I ordered... They also knocked $1000 off the retail price for the 7yr extended warranty through Chrysler.

If you are set on getting a 2007 Rubicon Unlimited then get on the phone and lock yours in. Don't bother going through your dealer. I would deal direct with whichever dealer has the Jeep you want.
