I ordered my Steel Blue 2dr Rubicon 6 Speed, On 3/3 and I called 3/20 and I was in D1 status. No estimated ship date yet. The sooner the better, its warming up outside and I cant wait to hit the trails

The dealership should be able to tell you the actual build date once the order is in "D1" status.

I just spoke with the most helpful person yet at DC (doesn't say much, but she was great) and found out that my 2 dr Rubicon hardtop is at D (ordered 3.9). She gave me the VIN and said it's scheduled to be built April 2 but that it could likely be sooner.

Well...it has been one week since I ordered and I have avoided calling because I am afraid of the answer I would hear. Called today and found out "BG" status and I am oddly happy...go figure. I guess it is the little things that make me happy. One week down, 15? more to go???

Order progress
Called DC today and learned that I went to D-1 status on Monday. Then I spoke with dealership and was told my Jeep will ship out of Toledo on 3-29-07. Salesperson also said it could take 10 days to make it to dealership. (about 200 miles from Toledo??????)
I ordered my Jeep on 2-2-07. Dealer said he would let me know whenever my order status changed. It has changed four times now (BG, BX, D, D-1) and he never called me.
Keep track of your orders, because most dealers won't. There have been much worse horror stories about orders than mine. I feel fortunate. Maybe my order is moving along because I continually inquire with dealer and make them call DC for me.
It seems to me that Wrangler production is moving faster than it was months ago. I also see more and more sitting on dealer lots.
Mine is a 2 door Rubicon, steel blue, half doors, side air bags, 6 speed.

i called today and it is in KZR status. apparently that means "shuttle move" ... the dealer didn't have any idea. it had been in KZL/M for 5 weeks with no movement. does anybody have any experience with this KZR and how much longer I might be looking at?
