my jeep's railcar was just outside of dallas on the way to mesquite a couple hours ago. it'll probably reach its final railyard tonite or tomorrow and then get on a truck to come this way. looks like i'll take delivery right at 1 month.

Where are you located ? It takes another 4 days ?

i'm about 4 hours away from Mesquite, where the train dropped off my Jeep last nite. that means it'll have to be loaded on a truck. generally, they wait for these trucks to get full, or at least semi-full before sending them off to their destination. so i imagine it'll probably just sit there today and maybe arrive monday or tuesday; but it could be as late as wednesday/thursday. depending on how late it in the day it arrives, i might have to wait until the next day for all the delivery preparations to be completed. so all in all, i SHOULD be driving it by the end of the week, but it all depends on how soon that truck loads up.
edit: i didn't mention that my car dealer isn't open on sundays.

I picked mine up this morning at 9:30. It's a amazing. We drove it all day, even had a chance to fold back the top. it was close to 60 degrees in NY.
It drives great and feels really solid. The road noise is not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be with the soft top, even doing 70 on the highway.
I'm very happy that we decided to have the Jeep built to my specifications. Looking forward to changing up the rims and wheels.
It's worth the wait.
