Default Changing rotors and pads for larger tires

When you upgrade your tires to a larger than factory size do you change anything in terms of brakes, rotors etc. I purchased an 08 with 5300 miles and it has 35's on it. I am trying to determine what changes i need to look at in the next 6 months
I do not believe the gear ratio was changed but will jack it up and confirm in the next few weeks but how about brakes anyone change them along with tires ?

No, many members here run 37's & 40's without upgrading the stock brake rotors & pads. Once the stock ones wear out they may upgrade then.

I just keep replacing the pads but once I get up to 37s I will probably think of getting a big brake kit from TF

i am upgrading the brakes - only because i will be towing heavy cargo trailer. With the 35's, stock brakes seem to be "ok", but with a trailer behind me, not too cool. HUGE difference

Yeah I will be towing a trailer and 4 wheeler for hunting this fall - my brakes are ok right now as well but may be a concern this fall

Thanks for the responses
