Lame
I would call them every day untill they new my number by heart. see if a mgr. @ the 4x4 shop will call your local and regional Olympic sales rep. The rep wants you to be happy and 4x4 shop so you will tell others to buy olympic product$$ alot if the times the reps can replace things with no questions asked..... It's worth a try.
Or you could trade your jeep in and get a moped...... I'd try the other option first
good luck!

I am still happy with my Olympic bumpers and sliders. I scratched the crap out of the bottom of my rear bumper on a rock a week or so later after a couple rains it was rusty. I sanded it and touched it up with some flat black spray paint. With that being said any rock rash on my frame or undercarriage has rust in the scratches. I think your complaint is more related to normal rock crawling wear and tear unless the base of the rust is starting at the weld points or bolt holes.
Please add some pictures so we can better understand your description of the defect

I agree it needs to be sand blasted and painted . Check into Line X it would be sweet to paint match your rig. I have not experienced anything like that on my Olympic bumpers.

There is more rust under your Jeep than on the bumper....look at your diff cover and driveshaft... Yes it's rusting, but you can take some sandpaper to clean up the rust and paint it with rust-inhibiting paint...

Yes I can. If it was used or older it would be expected (I've done it on other Wranglers I've owned) but not on one-year old product. It's poor craftsmanship and should (to me) be taken care of. If I manufactured items such as these, I wouldn't want my product represented this way. I certainly don't like my Jeep represented this way. Additionally, my drive-shaft and diff. cover aren't powder-coated to inhibit surface rust.

this is crappy for sure. Do you or anyone have pics of the front and rear Olympic bumpers? I am considering them but can't get that representation or idea of fit and finish from the website PLUS I do NOT want them to rust after only a year!
It's the principle of the thing. Pay for the product get a good product and if you have issues.. get good product support... simple right lol.
I had a rock rail start to rust or get those rust trails only after getting it wet a few times months after getting them. Since it took nearly 4 months to get them in the first place I inspected and found a small hole in a weld line causing it.... cleaned it all up and sealed and painted the area... no rust lines anymore.
Hope you get some satisfaction dude.

Im sorry, but you cali guys dont know shit when it comes to rust. When you buy a product and live in the north you expect it to last. We have SERIOUS salt use here in the winter, and Im surrounded by salt water bodies. Im probably in one of the worst locations in north america for rust and would NOT accept my one year old bumper to be rusting.
