I pulled my front carpet some time ago. I got tired of drying it out. I just use the Husky mats now. The floor does get warm, but in the summer when it matters I have at least part of the roof off every time it is not raining.

Are there any electronics or wires that remain exposed that I need to worry about? Just cover with electrical tape?

Do I have to unbolt the seats to do it?

How about the bed? People taking it all out?

I have the fitted mats front and back. Have a dog. Tired of hair on carpet. Don't know how to keep hair off of the back of back seats though. That carpet can't come off. Seat covers maybe?

The only con that I had was that the extra heat deformed my rubber floor liners a bit, no big deal. Lined the floor now, and I love it.

So to bring a month old thread back... Anyone have answer to these questions? I am wanting to know as well.

Thanks.

Nothing to worry about.

No, but I did have to snip the carpet where it went around a front seat post.

I left the rear carpet in so my dog wouldn't slip around while she was riding in the back. Now, she's gone, and so is that carpet.

Sorry, I don't have any ideas about the seat backs.

I had the front carpet out long before the rear. No negatives when coupled with thick floor mats. With the rear out, and no mat or anything, the road noise is much louder. Still, I'm going to leave it out.

What about the carpet delete kit that replaces the carpet with rubber. I heard that it is all good except the wheel wells section
