Couple times going through the car wash, the rollers scratched the hell out of the sides of the Jeep. It's like they were misaligned and were closer to the body than they should've been. I still go none the less. Doors/top are off right now and will be for a while so I'll eventually have to wash it myself.

A brand new "Ecco" wash just opened and offered free washes so I thought what the hell. Bad move.. It felt like 30 guys outside with baseball bats swinging away at my jeep. I got ou to inspect and luckily all I lost was 5 of the rubber flaps that hang in the vent off the tailgate. Controlled Spray or hand wash only!

I have no problem washing the Jeep myself, just as long as it's over 55 degrees. In New Jersey we can't use a hose and sponge in the winter when road salt covers the Jeep because it's frozen. And it's worse for our neighbors to the north.

Car wash is for cars!!! it's in the name:
"car wash"!!!
What you need is a "Jeep wash" (7 girls with bikini hand wash your Jeep ...)

I just get the chunks off at manual car wash and take it home and finish it. Costs me about $2. And it cleans better than an automatic.
