Can't find a thread on cutting the fenders to make them flat. Please

Most suggest taping them off and using a Dremel tool. I taped mine of and went to town with a Sawzall. (More my style) Sanded the edges to make them smooth and bought some cheap trim from Autozone to finish it off. No directions needed!
