Default Can I store my hard top vertically?

Without damage. If so how? I found cheap storage that will fit my hardtop but only if it's vertical. I don't want to spend $180 on a dolly? Thank you!

Here's my cart that I built for about $20 in materials. It's carpeted wherever it contacts the hard top.

I added a cross bar covered in duct tape to support the glass without scratching it

It doesn't push down on it?

I spent no extra money and just stood it up on the fwd end, with the rear corners leaning against the wall. Threaded two hooks into the wall, one on each side, and strapped it down lightly.

No. The way it's set up the glass would swing down onto the ground of the cross bar wasn't there. It doesn't hold the glass tightly against the top, it's actually opened a little less than an inch so there's no pressure on it. The glass just rests on the crossbar.
