My guess, dealer F'ed up an order of a white JK white matching white top. Was stuck with an extra white top and put it on the first soft top on the lot. Now is trying to sell it as a combo top option.

Or

Just stupid. Tough to say which is right.

I say it's a used JK that the former owner got the hardtop for either for
A.) like mentioned above, same as fj for cooler sun
B.) owner bought it with plans to paint and just traded jeep in

So, way before the FJ was the CJ that you could actually get with a white top. I'm thinking this is a nod to those old jeeps, but missed the mark on the color scheme.

Going by the black rims its probably a dealership after market package or a trade in.

Rocklikethat, that would be so cool if someone would do that on a 2-door. I agree on the yellow and 4 door models that doesn't look pleasing to the eye.
