Default Buying a new JK tomorrow

This will be my first wrangler if everyone could give me some input on what I need to get in it. It would help me out a lot.

Well first off, congrats and welcome to the forum!
Second, do you know which model you're looking for? X/sport, Sahara or Rubicon?
What questions do you have specifically? more regarding the purchase process or about the vehicle itself?

Get everything that "you" want. I read a lot of threads before buying mine but in the end, I am the one driving it. Good luck on the purchase and Welcome!!!

Heated seats are a must if you live anywhere that gets below freezing temps.

Make sure to get 3.73 gear ratio if you plan on a lift and bigger tires in the future.

Welcome to the club!

What will you be using it for? DD and an occasional trip off road or DD and off roading often? If the first a Sport or Sahara will work for you, if the later then look at a Rubicon unless you are good at adding mods yourself. My first JK was a Sport and did great but when it was totaled I went for the Rubicon and never looked back.

I got the Sahara because it had the color matched top that I wanted. I probably would have been better off getting a sport. I put bushwackers on so my color matched fenders were a waste, put different wheels and tires on so Sahara wheels were a waste. Put ace rock sliders and rubi rails on so sidestep was a waste. I have learned from my mistakes, but it cost me about 6k. Which is roughly the difference in price of sport and sahara give or take. I do recommend the heated seats if you are from cold climate. I also enjoy satellite radio. If you plan on upgrading to a 33" or 35" tire I highly recommend the 3.73. Others then that your butt is gonna be in the seat everyday so get what will make you happy! Welcome, and don't forget to wave!

It's going to be a daily driver but I will be spending as much time as possible off roading. I test drove a 14 saharrah with a 3 in molar fox lift kit and 33 in tires today.

The salesman has actually been a huge help by asking me what I'm going to upgrade on it so I don't pay extra for it.
