Buy/Sell JKs with Ltg Upgrades
I have a 14" bumper mounted light bar, dual a-pillar (4) pod lights, 50" light bar, rock lights, license plate relocated with Led lamps.... and custom reverse lights (all on a separate switch - two 8" bars and four led pods). All of my lighting is wired into an spod. I did my homework and wired everything with solder and oversized my wiring with one gauge thicker wire than I needed everywhere.
My question is... has anyone ever sold/bought jeeps with massive amounts of lighting upgrades, and if so, was it difficult to convince people to buy ur jeep because of the lighting?

The current trend seems to be massive amounts of lights, regardless if they are ever actually used/needed. I doubt a buyer would be turned away simply because of lighting unless it there was a rats nest of wires under the hood. You said you ran everything through an spod, so that doesn't seem like it would be an issue.

Just my feelings, if a rig has ten lights and three light bars, no winch, or good functional mods it just looks silly.
And if it is built, with all the lights, a dual battery option is a great selling point.

My off roading consists of about 90% night rides and 10% day trips. I NEED my lights. I did it knowing full well why I did what I did. Do I need a winch? Nope. That's what tow ropes and my friends are for. I'm just wondering if I will get hammered on my selling price one day when I go to sell. Not planning on selling this jeep tho.

But without any other functional mods you won't get a penny for a couple (dozen) lights. They are pretty much the cheapest way to mod the jeep without actually improving anything about it.

If you're truly worried about resale value, then just use your Jeep as a mall crawler. Otherwise, get out there and enjoy it, take care of it when it needs fixing, give it the mods you feel it needs, and when you tire of this one, be prepared to find a buyer who will pay you what you consider a fair price for your well-used, fun-loving, memory-making Jeep with a few mods. That means YOU find the buyer, not a trade-in. You'll get soaked on a trade in.

Wrangell-St Elias National Park on the way to Nabesna. At 13,000,000 acres, largest national park in the country. Friend of mine upon seeing a picture of a different section told me that it reminded him of the K-Trail. In Oklahoma, of course, I replied back, "Yeah, if you ignore the 18,000 foot, glacier-topped mountains, I can see how you can say that!" LOL.
