Didn't mean to make it sound like I was pointing a finger... at anyone. Just in general on the threads on this Forum. Most here are die hard off roaders and that is great. But it seems people jump to views before verified information is available... or they have seen the new 2011's in person for example. Rumors run wild here!!!

Yes I agree that I too don't really think it's a waste of time to discuss design. But the key word is "discuss"... but most seem to bitch. Changes will come, and most wanted changes won't. The die hard off roaders here want items to make what they feel the JK needs... more power, more relialibity, less bling etc. and they are in the group of the "few" as compaired to all who own JKs. Remember that the needs of the many out way the needs of the few... looking at it as a company would...

I am anxiously awaiting for delivery of my '11 Sahara in Mango. Ordered on 8/17 and have a scheduled ship date of the 16th of September. While waiting for delivery I have been scouring the forum here gaining information and learning as this is my first Jeep!

Rick.
Yes, you are right... the saddle/black looks so much better than in the photos Jeep released. I can't wait to slide my butt into my new 2011 Rubi with leather heated seats.

Thanks! No Worries!

Oh, by the way I've seen the new interior in person...this past Wed's evening. The one I saw was not a hard top though it was a soft top and it had an all black interior. Interior was nicely done (quality wise). Top appeared the same. Seeing it in person though was what prompted me to go on and try to find/buy a '10. But when the '12's hit and I find myself "floored" again I might find the urge to swap.......and I would! LOL

couple things as i was "building" a sahara:

1. are heated seats only avaliable if you get leather?
2. is the leather only available if you get two-tone? It looks as if the leather seat option in the tiny little picture is black, but all the "official" photos show it being tan...

YES to both. When I ordered my 11' Rubi from the dealer, he tried many diff things to get me all black with cloth seats and heated seats. No go. You can order heated seat upgrade kit from MOPAR for other Wrangler model years, so I would expect that to also continue for the 2011. I had to settle for leather and two tone... and at the time I was worried about what I had ordered! But after seeing the video walk around it looks so much better than the pictures of the leather w/two tone that Jeep put out.

Just a few more weeks... and I'll have mine and I can tell you if it was worth it for me.

Anybody else having trouble getting the site to accept zip codes? I've entered several zip codes from my area and none of them are being considered valid.
