Moab in the snow is awesome. Rather have a light dusting over rain. Nothing like white stuff on the red dirt or seeing the snow on Moab Rim when you first wake up. The years it has snowed, it was mostly melting by late morning allowing for a great day of wheeling in the sun.
I will say, coming off the slick rock or Moab Rim in the pouring rain is nerve racking. Or the time the time we started the hike in shorts on the tip-toe plus hike trip with temps in the 60s and then ran back in the snow. What fun.
No matter what the weather is, it will be a great week. Forget the weather report and pack layers... it will change during the week at least once.

Ya the rain it is very pretty running off the red cliffs everywhere making waterfalls awesome!!! Just red mud everywhere too! I just don't want the cold included!! Here is a old pick of my YJ in Moab in the rain!
