Default Body question

New to the form. On my 2012jk where the soft top sail flaps hook to the body on the sides. I keep getting dents. I have noticed it since putting my tonneau cover on and off a few times. Is this common? And what would be the best way to get the dents out if possible. Thanks in advance.

Are you using a hammer to install tonneau?

I would say that is not common, no. The sheet metal there is pretty thin, but I can't imagine you needing to put a lot of pressure right there in that area. The soft top and tonneau should snap in to place fairly easily without that kind of pressure being applied.

The tonneau is tight. I dont hammer it in it more rolls in fron to back with some pressure. The soft top is no problem
