Body Armor Rockcrawler Side Guards

Body Armor Rockcrawler Side Guards
Anyone have pictures of installed Body Armor Rockcrawler Side Guards (rock rails) - these look good, no drilling, but want to know how far they stick out (more the better). And how solid they are as a step.

Thanks!

I have those mounted on my TJ.
As for useing them as a step, I was worried about the same thing (if they would stick out far enough) before I got them.
They stick out plenty far enough and are VERY solid to use as a step.
I haven't had to try it yet, but I would bet that you could jack the whole
side of the Jeep up by it.
I just went out and took some measurements for you, so you can take a tape measure and check it out on your Jeep to get a better idea of what it will be like.
I'm sure that they will be the same for a JK as they are for my TJ.
I would guess that the only difference will be the position of the body mounts, which is where they mount to, not the frame.
I don't understand why they don't show a picture of how they mount in Quadratec.
The rectangular tubing, is 2 inches tall by 3 inches deep and it protrudes out 1.25 inches from the side of the body.
The other 1.75 inches of the rectangular tubing is under the body and can't be seen.
The 1.5 inch round tubing (note: Quadratec has it listed as 2 inch...it's not) which is welded to the side of the rectangular tubing sticks straight out (not angled) another 3 inches.
So the guard sticks out a full 4.25 inches away from the body.
My Rubi came with some stock flat diamond plate rocker guards, which I left on there. It looks good and now it acts like a kick panel.
If you don't have any type of rocker guards at all and it's just the painted body panel, I would say that for you, the Body Armor rocker guard
would stick out 4 and half inches, because the stock rocker panel is about a quarter inch thick (with it's rubber insulator behind it).
I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I will take some for you and post them up.
Here's the link to quadratecs page for mine, which has a different picture than the page for yours.
It shows the diamond plate I have on mine as well. http://www.quadratec.com/products/12053_4XX_PG.htm

How is the quality of the Body Armor guards? Do the welds look good? Does the powedercoat finish look good and is it durable? Is the powdercoat gloss or semi-gloss?

rocker guard pics
EDIT:
I had posted pictures of my side guards here for you folks to see, because I was under the impression that they would mount the same, but I have reciently seen that I was wrong...the BodyArmor rockcrawler sideguards for the JK mount completly differently than the ones for my TJ.
So I removed the photos and I apologize for putting up inaccurate info.
