Default Bestop Instatrunk

I'm thinking about ordering the instatrunk but have a concern, I leave my top down pretty much all summer long and am afraid the weight of the top will cause the top of the Instatrunk to sag. Has anyone had this happen, is the instatrunk thicker than it looks. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It probably doesn't hold all that much weight. But wouldn't the cross-bars in the top pretty much keep the weight distributed all the way across including with the Instatrunk connects?

I have the instatrunk and I dont see it sagging anytime soon. Its all steel, and while not incredibly stout, all the weight of the top isnt sitting on it, and even if it was it seems pretty sturdy. Im very happy with mine.

x2. The top rests across the side panels and mine is down a lot as well. It keeps the honest people honest, but I think it wouldn't take much if someone really wanted in it. Fortunately, I also have a perimeter alarm and it would go off long before they would be able to get a crack at it.

Does anyone have any pics of their top down with the instatrunk installed. I'd like to see how much higher the top rests with the trunk than without the trunk.

I dont have any pics but it seems to sit about the same. The biggest difference would be at the center of the tailgate. The fabric is limited on how far it can fall/sag or get pushed down into a normally open space.
