My 2011 Soft Top has a cable on left and right side of the soft top. There are no more rain guards you gotta tuck in like in the past models. I guess the 2010 have this as well that good to know! I thought I was doing something wrong watching the jeep soft top help video. LOL


To the OP - 2011 and no problems + I like the interior better than the older models.

~Same here. I've had issues. Exhaust manifold flange bolts were loose which in turn triggered the engine light.
~I had a cat converter replaced under warranty.
~A wheel speed sensor went bad.

Have an 07. Only problems I ever had with it was the ESP when I lifted it. I got her when they were first released. After new fixes came out and more after market parts these issues went away, another problem was the weak welding on front trackbar mount. My soft top is wearing out with age of course.

On my 2008 Sahaha, I had a leaking lower transmission line to the cooler. I was covered by warrenty, and I bought up the fuel problem when filling, It is at thr dealership right now, getting a new tank.

I have heard that the 2014 JK is the one you want......it runs on filtered water, get 63 mpg, quad climate zone control for the four doors (five climate zone for two doors, have to make the owners feel special) you can run 40" tires with no lift or rubbing issues, and it comes with lifetime warranties on the Hemi truck model. At least that is what I've heard, I could be mistaken
