I find it odd that the last post from Benchmark Designs on this forum was 1/31/2011. Looks like too much success too fast and no idea how to cope with it. Considering they have dropped out of sight for almost a year, I'd say they pretty much given up on keeping forum members informed.

Too bad. I'm in the market for a dual battery tray. I am NOT a fan of BBB (did you know you can "buy" a good rating?), but an "F" rating says I won't consider Benchmark Designs.

If you did your research and bought from them anyway - quitcherbitchen. You knew what you were getting in to.

Just got my JK dual battery setup......1/28/2012 - ordered almost a year ago to date....actually I had written it off as a rip off.....total shock!!!!!

 

Benchmark Designs website is completely down. Wonder if they are officially out of business now?

If so that sucks because I really wanted their oil pan.

Finally got my deposit back via paypal today. So I am finally done with them. Great product but poorly run business. Been waiting 14 months for my rear bumper.

 

My experience with Benchmark was as good as it gets. I ordered a JK Front Elite Winch with hoop this morning and it shipped the same day. They were in stock in bare metal, which is perfect for my application. John was very personable and returned my calls within 15 minutes of them being placed. I live in Alaska and had to use an external shipping company to have it barged north. John hand delivered the bumper to the company, although not too far away, at no additional charge. From reading these posts, I would have to conclude that due to the quality of his product he may have become bogged down in the past not expecting to grow as quickly as he did? Not too sure, however, I for one would recommend him and his company to anyone based off my experience. Thanks again John...

 

No single vendor in the JK aftermarket world makes a product so superior it's worth the headaches you see. Period! This isn't 2008. Tons of vendors are out there, both large and small. Pick your poison. I have dealt with many different vendors and settled on five or six I deal with. No way in heck will I deal with poor C'S any more.

 

Welcome to the forum!. Maybe it is my tired old eyes, but I find your blue text very hard to read though.

 

How long have you worked for John? ;P But seriously.. He might make a great product, but the severe delays, and lies to his customers is highly unprofessional, and completely within his power to correct. If his company still behaves like this(and it seems they do), it's only a matter of time before him and his company cross the wrong customer.


Agreed. A great product that never arrives, or takes upwards of a YEAR to arrive(based on comments in this thread, is completely inexcusable. He's gonna be sued if he keeps this up..
