My pan I got from them has been great. But I got it when they were new, and working good as a company.... Now after reading all the horror threads, I would look elsewhere. The only issue I have had with the pan is the crappy fasteners they sent with mine. But I put mine on in the middle of winter outside, and I have not had one leak. That's not to say it won't ever leak from the wields or anywhere, but it's been good for over 1 yr.
I would've bought the dual batt setup they have, but no way in hell I would now.

Well got my pan today. Looks good. Did not see it did not come powder coated till I went back to the site. :( Still want a bumper from them, but I am about to give up and just go PS. However I had planned on doing a rear and front winch. I already have the m8000 in a box for the rear... My rear winch idea may die just like Benchmark Diesigns....

Tragically, I'm beginning to think you are all correct. I wanted a dual battery kit, and benchmark is local to me so I called. I figured meeting somewhere and taking delivery of parts would guarantee I didn't get hosed. I told him I wanted the stage three kit, met him halfway and chatted for about ten minutes. He handed me the boxes gave me some advice, offered to help install and then left. For over two weeks I've been calling and emailing because I still don't have install instructions, and he gave me a stage two instead of a stage three. So I'm sitting on two boxes of stuff that I over paid for, that I can't install, and I don't have all the parts for.
John, if you're reading this I'd appreciate a call...to everyone else go elsewhere!

Well after 9 months of waiting, emailed them to cancel my rear bumper preorder and to refund my $150 deposit. Hopefully I will get it!!! Really love their products but the wait and no contact is BS! Was not in a hurry on a rear bumper, so was willing to wait it out. But their time is up.

I too have run out of patience with Benchmark Designs. Dual battery tray ordered in May, no communication, and their latest stall tactic of sending tracking numbers. I sumbitted a PayPal dispute and suggest that they be removed as a sponsor from this website as it gives them credibility they don't deserve.

If anyone is interested in running a dual battery set up, get the tray from any of the vendors who carry them, then go to Cole Hersey for their smart isolator, the rest is easy DIY. If I got jacked around living 30 minutes away from this guy, you are hopeless long distance. Don't walk, RUN away!

I read all the threads about the poor response time and customer service of benchmark before I ordered my oil pan but I ordered it anyways because everyone that waited eventually got what they ordered and were all very happy with the products. I am glad I ordered from them. Their oil pan is the beefiest thing I have ever seen. Everyone always asks where I got it. My mechanic (also a Jeep owner and wheeler) was very jealous and I love it. Their shit is awesome so just be patient!

Been almost a month since I requested my refund on my deposit on the rear bumper. No response, much less a refund. Starting to really feel I have been ripped off!!! Guess it is time to file a report with the BBB.

Been tinking I need to add a second battery and as was said somewhere in the previous pages, If you think you might you probably should. So, knowing I'll have the airbox and secondary fuse box out again very soon thought I would at least add the tray at the same time.
Benchmark was my first thought but there's just far to many bad experiences that have been shared. Reading through I see some have gone the third party route with Rebel. I know they are awesome to deal with first hand but still not willing to wait 8-10 weeks if for no other reason then a sign of support to those that experienced problems.

Been looking at the MORE and RR trays because looks a little out of my comfort zone for fabrication. I'll be adding a second Sears platinum and something like this, I think hxxp://www.colehersee.com/home/item/cat/211/48530/. Anyone have issue with either trays pros/cons or think I'm oversimplifying the shopping list? cable I have.
