Benchmark Designs - Do not deal with them
ORH got banned from the internet practically for the exact same issues Benchmark is displaying. I preordered the rear sport in Dec '10 since they claimed to have it coming out in Feb for shipment. I waited the extra month while Benchmark would not respond to any emails here or on there webpage. I think they can either respond publicly on the forum or they should too be banned.
Here is an email I received in Jan from Benchmark. I do not recall any furhter communications.

Rear Sport Bumpers & Tire Carriers
These are in process and will be ready in Feb. If this is something you're interested in, email me and I can give you more details. As promised on the forums, anyone from this original group of Midwidth Front Sports will be able to buy rear Sports at a better deal than is posted on the website. Email me if this is something you're interested in.
Thanks and have a great weekend!

Dispute the charge with the bank, report them to the bbb. Call and tell them your contacting the police and filing a report. (the police thing really puts a fire under their ass). It really is illegal to steal someones money, and since they are not sending you product, that's what the've done.
If they charged you, then they are in a contract, to deliver the goods. I'd even go to their warehouse if you cab, just never loose your cool.
It's considered good practice to only charge someone if the products are ready to ship.

I have gotten products from both in the past also. ORH was fine to deal with. Always responsive - email and phone. Benchmark sent front old style sport bumper when I ordered after messing up the shipping for a month. But now nothing from them on this new thing. I don't mind waiting but they need to adjust the delivery expectations when they are going into April with nothing. At this point I will just accept a refund if I could actually get anyone there to return any communication.
Sorry for the harsh tactic but I think myself and others are fed up and nothing is coming from it.

I ordered the dual-battery kit and winch fuse last month and am patiently awaiting delivery. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm criticizing you, OzzyPotter, but I do wish that folks would pay attention when there are literally dozens of threads discussing the poor performance of certain vendors. Another vendor with whom I had multiple orders suffers the same issues (except that they respond to most calls/e-mails, but their responses are usually unmatched by their performance). It's not the customer's fault that the business has such poor practices--but when there are dozens of threads warning of this and one decides to do business with them regardless, one should be willing to accept the reality rather than to tell everyone that they should not do business with them. Some of us are willing to put up with a lot to get what we feel are the best products for our needs.

Even with reputable companies its almost a lottery sometimes when you order "new design" products. Everything is pending on timing, how many before you ordered, the order got lost behind a computer problem, the shipping guy didn't show up for work that day...countless things can happen.
I remember everyone B@#$ing about the Benchmark oil pans, I got lucky and received it fast with no casting issues.
Another situation was with Northridge, I ordered one of the last few PSC bumpers from a big order they made when they first came out. Got mine in exact estimated time, my GF just ordered the same bumper over 2 weeks ago and is having problems getting it.
Roll 'O the dice my friends, patience usually wins out but a reminder to the company doesn't hurt either.

Learn from others...you know what you are dealing with

David at Northridge will restore your confidence in great customer service. Unfortunately (and understandably), he tends to avoid vendors that have problems delivering parts, so if you're set on a particular product, you may still have to deal directly with less than stellar customer service. But, if David carries it, it's difficult to go wrong with him.
