Default BEDLINER, Accessories, and durability.....

Im thinkin about bed-lining my grille and or wheels cause Ive seen some pics on here and they look sweeeeet! My question is.... How do they look after a couple years getting pelted by bugs and rocks? is there alot of upkeep? Whats the life expectancy of doing this and should i just keep my grille stock and get a powdercoated set of wheels?

Id love to see some images of grilles and wheels that have been D.I.Y.ed and been through a couple years of wear and tear.

THAAAANKS!!!!!!

I have bedlined the interior but am having trouble getting the door hinges off. There is a Torx head on them...anybody?

Also, how do you remove the grill

I can't remember the torx size but, me and a friend did our hinges at the same time and they were a total pain! We broke three of the bits and they were supposedly the hardest ones the parts store sold. we ended up taking a punch and hammering the center of the screw
A bit before trying to remove them with a hammer drill. Getting the hinges back on to where the doors would shut properly was also a bitch.
Good luck

Dont bed line your hinges. Theres no reason for it.

If youre wanting to line your grille, its easy. Its only held on by 4 plastic screws and then just pop it out(dont know the technical name for the "popping" mechanism that holds it in.) Youll figure it out. Upkeep is as simple as a rattle can. I doubt you'd need to have alot of upkeep, but if you need to touch up a certain area with more bed liner, so be it.
