bats in the belfry,, or airfilter?
Ok,, so I hit 12k the other day and I figured check the air filter,, found lots of acorns in there,, now i didnt think the intake was big enough for a squirrel,, but maybe a mouse,, cleaning it out I found two small bats stuck in the pleats of the air filter.. a new reason for a snorkle? I have hit deep water with my other jeeps.. but not this one yet.. Maybe the AEV one.. but I dont want the AEV hood..
Any sugestions??

Dead,, I took a couple pictures to show the size of these tiny bats compaired to the large opening of the airbox.. just need to download them from the camera,, then upload them to the thread,, for me it might take a while.. less nuts and bolts and more keystrokes the harder it gets..

Bats and Acorns.... Sounds like a Halloween stew gone bad (and a little old now)!

He's a little chewed up looking,, but you get the idea of the size of these bats,, there were two,, stuck in the pleats of the air filter,, and about half pound of acorns.. eaten..

Kinda funny, bats sittin around enjoyin their breakfast of acorns and then you crank up and Swoosh, they get sucked into the filter pleats wondering WTF! Just be glad they didn't break through! Don't think the dealer woulda warrantied a bat intake prob.
