I had to go auto since the manual would have the wife sitting right on top of the steering wheel.

This poll allows you to vote on both in case you own both. I never thought to put a 'Both' option in, dang...

Default Manual

6 speed, was easier to find a JK with 4:10 gears with a manual.

Auto for the wife. She had a manual for years, then auto for more years. Since it's her dd for the time being, she just didn't want the hassle of a stick in traffic.

Up until the Jeep I always had a manual transmition.
I hyperextended my left knee about 20 years ago, it just can't do the flex like it use to.

I had a 3 speed on the column when I poped my knee

Should have seen me clutch + gas with my right.

There's no fun factor with an auto. Stick all the way

For driving on the road, down 2 tracks, light off-roading the 6-speed is the way to go.

For rock crawling, and mud-bogging the auto.

I went with a 6-speed and love it.

Didn't the '07's get the 4:10's automatically with the auto trans?
