Default Armored or Lifted JK’s In Accidents

Some of the JK’s I see on here are built like tanks with steel all around. Some can run over most of the cars on the road. I am wondering what happens in an accident? Totally destroy the other car? Has you Jeep ever saved your life?

Just something I have been wondering about. Can't wait get one!

Mine is not lifted or armored, but i got rear ended last friday and it held up pretty well. The tailgate and body panel behind the tailgate got dented and rear bumper slightly damaged.Click image for larger version

I'm fine, was a little sore the next day. The guy that hit me went to the hospital, that's him standing next to the car.
I don't know how fast he was going but, the speed limit on that road is 55 mph and he said he never saw me sitting there at the traffic light.

I still can't believe it didn't do more damage than it did. I wish i would have thought to take a picture before i pulled away from his car.

It still drives straight, the insurance adjuster is suppose to come out and look at it this week and then it goes to the body shop. I guess i'll find out then.

I rear ended a merc marquis at 10mph and totaled it. ARB bumper + warn winch = huge body shop bill for my insurance company
