Anyone use this oil before

i have a question.... is it cheaper or more expensive than the regular stuff?
I figured it'd be cheaper due to the 50% old oil..
But at the same time it might be more expensive because of the recycling process.

ANYTHING ''green'' right now is really trendy, they have tossed this product up in the air and are looking to see if it will fly- and have priced it accordingly.....seems rich for me.

I started using reconditioned oil more than 15 years ago for the city I worked for. We never had any equipment failures. At that time the oil was only available in 55 gallon drums. City vehicles operate under bad conditions. Most of the time they never reach the proper operating temperature.

I agree, I can see a lot of Prius and other hybrid owners buying this and flaunting their oil.

sorry if its a little long
okay i wanted to post up an update to this oil. So i changed my oil before we took a trip to NC to visit family which it is roughly around 1824 miles give or take a few. Before we started the ridiculously long journey back to hell paso i wanted to change my oil again, with all the driving and such that we did visiting family. well im glad i did when i drained the oil it was a whole quart and a half low. I started freaking out thinking that the jeep was using oil like other people have posted before. when i changed the oil i just went and got the cheap stuff from wally world 5w-30, and now its about ready to change again so i checked it. thank goodness everything seems to be okay so idk what it is about that oil but im just trying to let everyone know do not use this oil.

Five bucks more
The Wally World near me has Mobile 1 for $24.90. Five bucks buys a better nights sleep. I am not pushing Mobile 1 just saying that oils with a proven track record can be purchased on sale for a few bucks more. Personally i think a quality filter is more important.

Did you use 5W30 on both oils?
