Default Anyone remove their rollbar padding?

Has anyone removed their roll bar padding? How does it look? Do you have any pictures? When you went to put it back on was very difficult?

I don't have pictures for you, but the roll bar looks smaller with the padding removed and is semi painted same color as your jeep without the clear. It's kinda like primer. Hope this helps.

I took mine off because it was getting shredded each time I rubbed a tree. I think it looks fine, but the padding does look better. I'm planning on painting the unfinished spots to match. The part that looks like crap is the rear cross bar where the back dome light is. The plastic piece for the dome light either needs to come off or you need to fab up something that gives it a finished look.

Well I guess this is a personal prefrence for sure! I think it looks funny with those skinny bars on a bad ass JEEP!! They look wimpy on what is otherwise a bad ass rough and tough rock climbing machine!!!! Just my opinion!!!

I don't think it looks bad at all but I do see where the rear dome light looks a bit off. Thanks for the link!

I have thought about taking mine off to wash or maybe dye them so they don't look as sun-faded.

Has anyone tried clothing dye to bring the black back out?
