I just saw on the news last night how stealing the CC is back due to the high price of metal. They said high profile auto's are an easy target, and it made me think how easy it would be to get mine. Anyone had any problems or thoughts on detering this. I guess I could hope it happens and then have the insurance get me a new high flow Cat and Muffler.

 

if my vehicle is parked ... it's no deductable. so they can fawkin have it, and i'll take the pay-out.

my neighbor had her's stollen off her grand cherokee, last year..

 

I saw that last night as well....

So If I got this straight a guy cruises the parking lot with a SawZall in hand..Rolls under an SUV and cuts off the Cat and then drives away...

That's actually kinda funny...I'd love to see them try to get one off of a JK..

 

I love to see them take off my Rock Hard skid plate first. Actually I double dare them.

 

Quickly hop in, start it up, and drive off, hopefully over the legs or something more vital.

 

We have had several stolen in our parking lot at work. They pull in backwards next to the car, open the door crawl down, cut and run. We watched the video of the parking lot and all you could see was the door opening and closing.

 

Never heard of it. I don't think that goes on in NC.
