Because you end up riding doorless because its faster rather then taking off stock doors then adding the half doors then having to but on the stocks again before the nights over. I been thinking about getting halfs but think was thinking about this

I have both doors. I never use the full doors. I rarely go doorless because it is pretty much the same with the halfs on. It is much easier to take on and off the halfs. I don't think you will ever regret purchasing half doors. You might regret ever getting full doors.

Just got my half doors two weeks ago. They are on until old man winter returns this year. THEY ARE GREAT! Spend the extra $80 to add the electric locks and the remote locks it up. Not tight but alarm on and it adds just a little security.
I also think it looks better topless. But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder eh?
One final note. I took out the back seat, carpet and of course took off the full doors and suddenly I had another new car! It seems to accelerate better and is much more nimble. Now I am worried about adding 300# of bumpers, winch and bigger wheels and tires!

This is my second wrangler and my frst came with full doors-I always wanted halves. This time I got halves adn couldnt be happier. Get the halves and get hard upper halves with slider windows. That way you have the best of both worlds. Hard lowers, hard uppers, sliding windows, no problems, no regrets.

I don't think they are out yet for the JK. They make them for all other Jeeps though. Bestop makes a version but they are not the fiberglass ones. I forget who makes those. I will be getting some when they come out though. They work better with the Hard Top.
