They'll be much more than $500.00. The planetary set alone is $1500ish, the sun gear is not a serviced part so no p/n available hence no price. Changing the sun gear is not a do-it-yourselfer project. So a set of gears in a box is not likely. Most like scenario is a complete new front half of the T-Case (which is where the planetary set is (low range gearing)). I'd bet at least a grand.
