that seller is a joke, they dont even have the doors, says they will ship direct from manufacture.

How is an item that isnt shipping yet(the rear doors) going to ship on monday?

So if you pay for it on tuesday it wont ship till the following monday, and he is a power seller? I hope know one orders from there. You can get them cheaper in probably the same time from quadratec or another real store. I sent him a question, cant wait to see his response.

 

Yes they are and he tries hard not to mention that, other then they are the superdoors.

 

The "fastback" top threw me off. Although how did he get a pict with the rear doors? I thought those were still a ways away.

plus i don't think they are allowed to ebay items with out permission from the manufacturer but ya those are the best tops and that is 100 better than what can be had in canada. so the price seems right to me.

 

Yes they wont be shipping till end of month of so, and they are still working in the fastback top. I forget what they are calling it, but that pic has even been on a cpl threads on the forum here.

 

well I dont think he is shipping/selling to canada, with shipping from him it is about 200 more then they would be from quadratec. I didnt think they are allowed to sell anything that ships from a manufacturer, but I could be wrong. Either way its a ripoff

 

As far as selling things that ship from a MFG goes it all depends on what type of account the seller has. If they have an E-bay store then it is like having your own online store just using E-bay instead of say MSN or Yahoo to do it.

I would not buy anything on E-bay like this that has not been out for a while and is to the point where it is in stock at other vendors. Bestop while a good company has left a bad taste on my mouth with my Safari top. Everyone (Quadratec, JC Whitney, ETC) had them in the catalogues. They had an expected ship date told to them by Bestop. They sold tops based on that and then the nightmare of waiting months longer happened. Now of course you order one and it is at your door within a week or two. It was hard dealing with someone who would have offered a refund and is big in the buisness dealing with that nightmare can you imagine how difficult it is going to be with this clown?

 

I was going through his feedback... It's enough to make me smell smoke. I'm not saying he's a scammer, I'm just saying I don't think he's a good seller. The way he reacts to one buyer in the feedback section leaves a bit to be desired... calling the customer a "newbie" because the welds broke on a euro light cover install lol
