You are not the only one. I would guess that most of the folks that lease one do not come to a site like this to read about modifications and off-road stuff. They would mostly use it a as a SUV type vehicle and would not see a need for a forum like this.

That question will be easy to answer in the future since Chrysler Financial discontinued their lease program several months ago. You would still be able to get one through alternative financing like a bank. They missed really bad on the residuals and will be dying to make deals if you want to convert to a retail loan down the road...IMO, turn it in when its time because the residual will be much higher then what it is worth.

Nope, mine is a lease and I plan on buying it when the lease is up. While it will cost more in the long run, with my being only 20 and not having much of a credit history, it cut my monthly payment in half. I can afford my lease payment every month, and it helps build my credit, which lowers my rate when I finance the residual, which builds my credit, so on so forth...
