The programmer should get you better mileage as well.
If you wanted a further test, I'd suggest you borrow a cold air intake filter and by-pass your snorkle. Then compare your mileage between the two.
I get 13.7 MPG with 38's.

Have no fear!! I am running that exact same wheel/tire combo (Dig your style btw) on my 2012 with 3.21 gears D44Rear/D30Front....I drive like an asshole most of the time and ZERO problems!!
Just think, if you somehow bust something, you get to replace it with something better!!

Per the computer, I average about 14.2 with mostly city driving. Haven't been on the highway enough to see what I will get on a long haul. When I am on highway, I sit at about 25-2600RPM @75-80MPH

My x has had 35's for 170,000km and my bro was rough on it when he had it and I'm no different. Knock on wood the d30 has been fine. Your rubi should be more than fine.
