I agree with others, if you wheel it hard, a lot, or in mud then the M/T is the way to go. If not, a good A/T will do the job. I had BFG A/T KO's on my TJ and it did awesome in the snow and ice (on road), and I wheeled that Jeep in Colorado, Moab, and Arizona and they worked well. I never do mud though, so that was a non-issue. They have great tread wear as well.

They sure do have great tread wear. I had them on my '04 F250 Powerstroke. They were quite, rode good and would have gone pretty much anywhere I wanted to take that truck. I even had it in the mud a little and it did fine. I'm sure for lots of mud or getting in mud often, the M/Ts would be better.
