have you ever had snow on the hood in clumps?? then had the heat melt a slick surface under it so its floating on water? if you watch them, the faster you go they will actually get pushed fwd. the air hits the windshield and is forced down (in all dirrections) cuz its so flat to the oncoming air, and that air flows back onto the hood.

when you place the vent fwd you actually will be pulling air out of your jeep at some speeds, but towards the windshield, you will get more air at any speed.

i'm an engineerd, trust me, drives me NUTZ to see ppl with them facing fwd.

Thanks! That makes sence. Ok, I will install it towerd the window. The snow example worked, I have seen that happen.

I didn't install it for induction necessarily. I did it mostly to keep leaves out of the grate. When the leaves get wet, it makes a smelly Jeep tea-like substance.
