Hi...

I just look to JEEP.ca and saw that the 23s package have been modified here too... They replace the 16" wheel and tire with 17" and they remove the Tow Hook and the Fog Light. I'm just waiting a call from my dealer 'cause mine was supposed to go out of the plant last week.... grrrrrrrrrrr

 

Yeah ! I just talk with the dealer and my JEEP will come with the Hook and the Fogs... And he's on the way.... He's now in Windsor (Ontario) and will arrive here about november 6 !!!

 

If it just came out of the plant last week, don't count on your dealer being right. I would bet it won't have the tow hooks or fog lamps.

We look with the dealer and even if the JEEP.ca site don't show the old S package (since this week), in the order system, it shows the old one. So maybe we will be lucky !!!

 

Glad I've got an '07, it's a shame how Jeep has decontented the S package. But, if you can squeeze an extra nickel out of the public...

 

But what I've seen here in Canada, the new 23s package was not so bad :

But just the fact that maybe i will not receive what i'v ordered bug me... And for now, I don't really want 17" for now...

 

Looks like no fogs or hooks? that suckz.

 

They have actually raised the price of several of the options from last year. For example on a 2-door X:

This is comparing my order sheet/what I positivily remember with the current info on Jeep.ca

This blows, particularly with our dollar so high.

 

So they release a new Jeep and brag about the new, lower price...and after only 1 year, they start discontinuing "niceties" (starting with the hood liner/light and footwell lights) and raising prices...go figure
