Default AEV Snorkel VS Hurricane winds and rain.

Just got home from work and had to drive through some heavy rain and hard winds. I just have their normal scoop looking snorkel top and thought that is there was going to be any water in my air box, tonight would be the night. PUlled in and opened the air box and it was BONE DRY! There was even dry dust from my last off road trip.

Just thought I would share for those who think their design wouldn't withstand driving rain.

Good to know. I listened to a snorkel manufacturer comment that the engine temp burns off residue water that gets into the snorkel piping, such as rainwater.

Even the scoop it's s elf has cut outs to help it weep out the water that hits the back of the scoop.
