Default Ace Rock Rails... $106 shipping... Really???

So I put a set of 4 door Ace rock rails in the shopping cart to buy them, and then calculate shipping to 89178 - Las Vegas NV. $106.... Really? $295 for the rails is good. $401 with shipping is insane.... Does that include installation???

Who did you order them from? If its Quadratec and a few other companies that usually have high shipping, if you call them, or contact their rep on here they will ship for free or a greatly reduced price.

ACE ships their sliders in individual, large, heavy boxes. May seem high but volume is volume. They are actually a great value considering they come powder coated at a price usually lower than similar style competing products.

That's probably what UPS charges them to ship it, shipping large heavy boxes 2/3rds of the way across the country isn't cheap. At least they're not artificially inflating the price just to offer "special reduced rate" shipping.

It is $83.20 to ship a set to Tulsa...It is UPS trying to get in on the money making.

Directly from the Ace website.

Try Krawl-Offroad. Shipping for me was $10+ cheaper. Not much, but cheaper!

Have you tried taking a couple big, heavy boxes from Las Vegas to Tulsa for under $84? UPS ain't trying to get "on the money making", it's just an expensive thing to do that has a lot of overhead expenses.

I was mostly in shock when I saw that shipping quote. I should have figured it would be that expensive to ship steel rails 2000 miles. I just had my head set on spending $295...

I was not implying that they are robbing anyone...they have to make their money too is what I meant. I realize the expense of moving things across country.
