Took a serious look at it and did alot of research on it and couple others. It seemed like a really good bumper and carrier with a light option, and got solid reviews for craftsmanship and customer service. But weight was my biggest concern with it. It is supposedly between 180 and 190 lbs. I have found that the weight is adding up really fast on our jkur and is starting to slow us down in daily driving and def hitting our MPG with the stock 4.10 gears. Just ordered the Crawler Conceptz body mounted tire carrier and keeping the stock rear bumper for now. If we add a new rear bumper before a regear it will most likely be an aluminum one.

I have had it for about 2 months now. really nice bumper. The opitional LED lights are bright. The only problem I had installing it was where the bumper inserts into the jeep frame, it would not go in all the way. About 4 inches inside the jeep frame there was a bump in the metal that would not allow the bumper to slide in all the way. Not a real problem I just grinded an angle on the bumper frame and primed it. Over all a really nice bumper.

I Installed mine last week and overall I'm happy with it. Very solid build and for the price you really can't beat it. I love the lights on the back and the fact that the carrier links to the tailgate for one hand operation. I think Ace could have made some of their welds look a little cleaner and the think does weight a shit ton lol, but weight didn't really bother me and like I said It was exactly what I was looking for for a very good price compared to other similar bumpers.

How much higher is the receiver hitch vs the stock location?
