I will be getting soft top only 2 door Rubicon, if I order the "deep tint sunscreen" windows do I get both sets? Because if I don't, it seems like a ripoff because I can get the tinted windows from quadratec for about the same price. Then I have a spare clear set to put in on the trais to get scratched up.

I also plan on adding a front bumper and winch. I read many threads trying to find out if the tow package adds stiffer springs. I never found a clear answer. Seems like a ripoff without the springs because I can add the mopar hitch and wiring for $100.

I think I'm set on a 2012 Rubicon, soft top, 6 speed, power convience, connectivity, heated seats, engine block heater, in "winter chill".

 

i felt the same way my thought was , if i orderd it with out the option id get a set of clear and if i buy after there 300 bucks then i have both

but ordering it with tint i only get tinted ! (no clear ) thats kinda a rip off !

but its like asking for better wheels when ordering , they dont give you the original 5 wheels and the 5 wheels that are better i thought the clear would be good for winter and tinted for summer but you only get the dark ones only

youl be happy with the tinted though ! just be on the look out for buckles in the rear window , i saw at least 10 jeeps 2012 with wrinkled back tinted windows
i actualy made them swap mine out after my order came in , i figured i paid tinted windows not a tinded buckled rear window! the manager didnt like it but i wasnt getting stuck with a flawed window and paying 300 bucks for it !

they unzipped and put it on another i was thinkin some one else will either live with it or be like me and complain ! just somthing to look for when you pick it up Attachment 283791

 

Thanks. I figured I wouldn't get both sets. If it was like $50 I would get it. But there is no way tinted windows cost 300$ more than the clear ones.

 

after market ones do cost 300 too i believe ! and are harder to find to fit the 12 maybe bestop ? i just wanted factory tint windows
there so much better than the clear , my 11 had clear and
i kept sayin ill need to get tinted ones ! i bit the bullet and said yeh toss em on
when ordering the 12

 

I believe these are the factory "deep tint" on a 2012. So for $240 I get 2 sets of windows.

any deal when they come through with clear and if i add the tinted ones as extra the clears should be included as well ! he said hed check on that ! never got back to me on it , and then i got tired of dealing with the bullsh#t
and said frig it !
