Iff you run a search you will find several techniques.

They become softer and easier to remove if you use a hair dryer first to loosen and edge then work them along with dental floss or thread.

I have used WD-40, goo-b-gone(its citrus based), also a heat gun/ hair dryer works.

I think I used goo b gone, but any adhesive remover should work. Soak them for a few minutes, use a fingernail to get under one corner, and slowly pull them off. A hair dryer will help loosen them as well to get a corner started. Wipe the whole area down again with adhesive remover, wash using your preferred method, and apply wax as the adhesive remover will remove it and there probably wasn't any under the sticker anyway.

Heat them with a hair dryer, peel. Add a little heat if it's not coming off easily. Clean glue residue with WD40, then wash off WD40.

I waited till a hot day in the summer and they peeled right off leaving very little residue. A few wipes with some alcohol and it looks like they were never there.

I have a 2007 X - would love to remove them but have some concern now about the fade that may have occured around them. How bad of a difference do you think there will be in color once removed and what can be used to correct it.
