I really hope they push the Gladiator/JT into U.S. production...I think the AEV kit for the TJs is so bad-ass...a similar setup with the JK would sell REALLY well, methinks.

I don't like the JT...the Gladiator, on the other hand, would be my first pickup truck in a New York minute...I really like that Jeep...the Hummer concept is a close second...whoever comes out with a pickup first will get my dinero...btw, I like the higher beltline of the JK...goes well with the taller, longer, and wider stance...

I like the JT, but it definitely looks like what it is, a converted Unlimited. The Gladiator concept definitely looks much more sorted out IMO. The extra 20"+ of wheelbase makes a difference. As always, it's all subjective though.

That JT has a panel behind the driver/passenger seat and a removal top and that is the only real difference in it an the unlimited except it is a 2dr. So apparently they did it using a 2dr jk body and adding the quarters from an unlimited and top.
Crappler needs to market a wrangler based pickup. I think they are afraid they will sell some units.
Hell, I would not have paid any attention to the new JK platform if I had not seen the concept trucks. I got my jk because I didn't want to wait for Crappler Corp to circle jerk for 5 years and come out with some unibody POS.
Because they work for GM (Garbage Motors). Look how long it took them to respond to the PT cruiser, granted they did a better job. But then the PT was on a neon platform.
