thats what I thought too.. wouldn't it just be worth it for them to give me like 200-250 off and let me keep them?? I'm calling them again if I dont hear from the shipping company by 1.

also they put a TON of weight on these wheels to balance them.. is that normal on tires this size?

The wheels I ordered from them all came in off balance. I had them rebalanced and they paid the difference with some resistance. Disappointing

Yep I have had problems with them as well. I ordered a bunch of stuff from them and had to wait over a week, even tho I was told they were in stock when I ordered them... When I called to check on them I spoke with the single rudest women on earth. Done with them. Folks in other forums are saying the same thing. Their customer service is a joke.

x2 on this. I try to avoid them, but sometimes they run unbelievable deals. Thy customer service is a joke and I count on at least a month to get something. When I ordered my CAI from them, it took like 5 weeks. After 4 weeks of waiting, I emailed them about it, no response until a week AFTER I finally got my intake.... the response was " yeah, sorry about the not emailing sooner... I think that might have shipped..?" ya think?!! oh well, at least I got it, and it was a hell of a deal.

Um, I'm pretty sure they are very much not the same company. 4wd.com operates out of ohio. 4wheel parts is a much much larger company.

They might be seperate entities, but it looks like they are owned by the same parent company. Here's part of the 4wd.com about us page:

"In 2006, 4WD was acquired by Transamerican Auto Parts Company, LLC. Transamerican Auto Parts is one of the largest automotive aftermarket parts and accessories companies in the country, and with the addition of 4WD and Performance Products, they will now be a leader in the automotive aftermarket for Jeeps, Porsches, and Mercedes.

Transamerican operates 48 Four Wheel Parts Performance Centers in 17 states, and is poised to take 4WD to the next level."
