Default 4wheelparts and my 35's

ok so I ordered 5 pro comp wheels and 5 pro comp tires from 4wheelparts.com. Got the shipment. the wheels are cast black. so excited, unload them.. and all 5 are scratched to heck and back. whoever mounted these tires should be fired. They also forgot to send my lug nuts. SO I take pictures and call them.. talk to customer service send them the pics.. wait call again.. next day they call me back say they are going to pick up the old ones and send me out some new ones. I asked if I keep them what kind of discount? They come back with 100 dollars off. I was like ya.. send me new ones.... 100 dollars off for 5 messed up wheels??? I would have kept them for 250 off. anyways tomarrow will be day 4 and I still haven't heard from the shipper to come pick up the tires. I called to day asking when they are going to come get them, they said I should hear from them soon!! I cant get the new ones till these are picked up and I leave for vacation friday night.... sucks! Be aware when you order wheels!! Anyone else have a issue like this?

Weird, I've had the complete opposite with them, but I also just pick up from one of their shops instead of ship to my house. Always been happy with the service and the quality.

ya it does sucks cause its just a pain in the butt.. I just hope the shipping co calls today to come get them.. I would much rather have just had them given my a decent discount and kept the wheels.. I mean there more then likely bound to get scratched off road anyways. but 100 bucks is nothin for all 5. May aswell get a nice set. Also there site is misleading saying your wheels ship for free... if you keep reading its says they ship for 89.95...

I had problems with them also... ordered 5 37X13X15 Boggers recently, one of them had the thread going the wrong way... what a pain, not many companies around my place wanna play with a tire that size, bunch of morons...

Sorry dude, that really does suck.
I don't mind buying stuff on-line that is low-risk, but IMO, tires and wheels are just too much to trust on on-line store will do right by you. I want to see the wheels and the tires before I hand over my money. And I want to be able to walk in and stand toe-to-toe with the guy if I have a problem.
Anyway, I hope 4wheeldriveparts steps up to the plate and you get on your happy way soon enough.

Oh, and don't be surprised if they take those wheels back, spray over the scratches with a can of black paint and sell them to the next lucky winner. They don't really have any other option - it's not like Pro Comp would take them back because their highly-skilled techs scratched the heck out of them.

true, you could spray over them, but its almost like a coating more then a paint on the wheels.

I do hope this works out for you! Im suprised they would only give you $100 off... If shipping is 89.95, it will cost them 180 just to get the old ones back and the new ones to you... plus paying the "techs" again to mount and balance.

Ive ordered several sets of wheel and tires online before and never had an issue. I dont think Ive ever ordered from 4wheeldriveparts though.
