Peacock flats is a winding road that leads to a camp site at the end. All the trials are off the main fire road. Some are hard to spot, others are right there in front of you. With a completely stock JK your not going to be able to make some, at least not without draging your whole underbody on a big ass rock. I rolled my 2dr on "jeep eater" back in Feb. That trail is really washed out and has gotten worse over the years. The ground gave way under my driver front tire and caused me to "roll" onto my side. Took 3+ hours to get it back on its feet. But that gave me the final OK from the wife to upgrade to a 4dr!! All in all its a fun trail with some good lines if you know how to pick them. When Im back at home me and Stillnutz go up there at least once a month if not more. We usually get our passes for two weeks at a time so if we can get away and go play we can. I would make make sure someone if not ALL have a winch. You highly recommend rock sliders. Bring ya some snacks and water too. Depending on how the weather has been up there is can get REALLY dusty. If its been raining, run your top and doors. Have fun

Awesome info. Thanks. We have rubicon 2dr with short arm 3.5 inch lift, 35 km's, and warn front and rear bumpers with smittybuilt 10,000 lb winch. Getting new drive shafts this week for upgrade. Not trying to go there and break things. But want to see the area and give the wife confidence in her vehicle.

It's really nice up there, bring a camera for sure. The camp area has an outhouse also. There's some easy trails that are less challenging. Been up there a couple times only so I haven't hit them all. Sorry I can't make it this time :(
