Question: At least here in California, we are required to cover all lights mounted 42" or more from the ground while driving on roads. (If there was ever a good reason for that law, this bar be the best example) Anyhow, I didn't see covers available on the manufactuer's website, are there any available or would we need to fabricate them ourselves?

If you cover the lights while driving on the roads, how are you supposed to use them? Just kidding. Anyways, I don't have an answer for you, but I will find out.

That setup looks great dugn8r, Especially since it doesn't inhibit your clearance up top. Great job!

That's the beauty of LEDs.
Unlike filament bulbs, much less of the energy produces heat.
The energy conversion from electrical to photonic is outstanding, with more efficient LEDs constantly being developed. This is, indeed, an awesome time for all markets of the lighting industry. Once they get cost under control, look for the light bulbs in your house to go LED. At that point, your light bill will drop like a rock. (can't say the same for your outrageous heating and cooling portions, though)

EDIT: "very little" -> "much less"
